It has been an exciting nine months of your life, eating without restrictions, sleeping without any problems and of course minimal exercising on your end. Now that your baby is here, you are so excited, full of joy, but you are also wondering about your post pregnancy weight loss. While it did take you nine months to gain the added weight, you are wondering how in the world you will accomplish losing the pregnancy weight with a new baby.
You are lacking sleep because you have to be up with your new bundle of joy, your energy level is not at its highest, and you are flat out discouraged about getting that shape that you desire. Take the time out to write down some realistic, attainable goals that you can commit to doing. Examples of those can be things like walking for 30 minutes everyday, skipping desert and opting for fruit when you get the "sweet tooth", or even cooking less red meats and adding more protein to your diet. All of these things are simple changes that you can make to create a better lifestyle for yourself. Now that you have a new baby in your life, you will want to stay healthy not just for yourself, but for the baby as well.
Breastfeeding
Yes, one of the most simple, yet powerful ways of getting starting with your post pregnancy weight loss plan. Breastfeeding is strictly recommended by many doctors, nurses, and other moms in the world because it is so important for your child. Breast milk is equipped with all of the nutrients and antibodies that your baby will need and it increases their health level. While it is doing all of this for your child, breastfeeding is also working on your behalf. Your body burns calories when you are breastfeeding, which in turn losing calories means losing weight. While you may not lose all of the pregnancy weight, it definitely helps out.
Post pregnancy weight loss no longer has to be that hard for you especially if you change your mindset, visualize your goals, and start of with breastfeeding. Remember to take your time when getting back to doing physical activities. You should make sure that you have properly healed and then once you are, you should start changing some things little by little.
